US Congressman Warren Davidson Visits O'Gara Armoring

On March 21, O’Gara Armoring (O’Gara) hosted US Congressman Warren Davidson at its facility in Fairfield, Ohio. O’Gara’s leadership briefed him on the Company’s recent growth and three recent major contract awards with the US State Department and Department of Defense. Congressman Davidson addressed all of O’Gara’s employees, commending them for their dedication to protecting American service members. Following his address, the Congressman fielded questions from the audience regarding current domestic and geopolitical issues and viewed an armored vehicle display.

“We were honored that Congressman Davidson took the time to visit O’Gara and speak with our employees,” the Company’s General Manager, Mike Reynolds, said. “With his manufacturing background, he really understands the challenges small businesses face and can be our proponent on Capitol Hill.”

Congressman Davidson represents Ohio’s 8th Congressional District, which stretches from West Chester, north to the Greenville area. The Congressman is an Army veteran and Sidney, Ohio native.

Located in Fairfield, Ohio, O’Gara designs, fabricates, and integrates armored products to meet various protection requirements on military and commercial platforms. The company traces its lineage to coachbuilders from the 1870s. It transitioned to armored vehicles in the 1950s, starting with President Truman’s limousine.
